Re-fit, Sheet Metal Work and Final Disassembly

Chapter 9 - Assemble Mechanicals

Step 21. Install restored and/or new engine.

Step 22. Test-run engine and test transmission.

Chapter 10 - Painting

Step 23. Plan the painting sequence.

Step 24. Final block-sand all body and sheet metal parts.

Step 25. Apply final primer and primer-sealer.

Step 26. Apply final body color topcoat paint.

Step 27. Color-Sand, Buff and Polish Body and All Sheet Metal Panels.

Chapter 11 - Reassemble Body & Frame

Step 28. Re-install body to frame.

Step 29. Install steering column, Firewall items, Pedal Assemblies.

Chapter 12 - Reassemble Sheet Metal

Step 30. Reinstall and fit all sheet metal.
